Lasik is one of the most popular choices for treating nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.
A condition where the natural lens inside the eye becomes cloudy and no longer allows light to be focused properly.
is lasik for you?
The human eye captures images in much the same way that a camera does. Light enters the front of the eye (cornea), passes through the lens, and an image is projected onto the light sensitive tissue in the back of the eye, know as the retina. Most vision problems, including nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia), and astigmatism, are cause by imperfections in the shape of the cornea that cause the images projected onto the retina to be blurred or distorted.
Am I a candidate
It is important to understand that not everyone is a fully qualified candidate.
A procedure similar to LASIK without the creation of a corneal flap.
An alternative method of vision correction for patients who are not candidates for LASIK or PRK.
Essentially cataract surgery done for the purpose of eliminating the need for glasses or contact lenses.
Our facility is located immediately east of the Utah Valley Hospital. We are located on the main floor of the Utah Valley Physicians Plaza, Suite 204.
