Dr. Christensen became a valued member of the Utah Valley Eye Center in 2023 after completion of his ophthalmology residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. During his residency, he underwent comprehensive training across the spectrum of ophthalmology, encompassing routine and intricate cataract surgery, medical retina, and glaucoma management. Throughout this period, he had the privilege of serving a diverse patient demographic spanning a wide geographic region.

Dr. Christensen’s interest in surgery began in his undergraduate years with a fascination in human anatomy and physiology. He decided to pursue ophthalmology after discovering a love for cataract surgery. He enjoys being a comprehensive ophthalmologist with an emphasis on cataract and refractive surgery, as well as glaucoma and retina disease management.

Dr. Christensen was born in South Jordan, Utah. He and his wife Michelle (Mic) have three children and are happy to be living in the beautiful state of Utah.
