Glaucoma is a condition that causes damage to the optic nerve in your eye due to increased pressure. Unless treated, over time this damage gets worse and worse. Glaucoma tends to be hereditary, but tends to not show up until later in life.
The two most common types of Glaucoma, and they each have different symptoms. The Provo Eye Doctors at Utah Valley Eye Care provide this list to help you understand your eye health.

It is best for you to not wait until you have noticeable eye problems to see a doctor. Sometimes with Glaucoma, there are few warning signs before permanent damage is caused. The best thing you can do for your eyes is to have regular eye exams. In most cases, this will enable Glaucoma and other eye conditions to be detected early enough to prevent permanent damage.
